Each spring the CEC invites volunteers to enjoy an appreciation dinner where dedicated volunteers are recognized for their contributions. Awards are presented to volunteers that have made a particular contribution to the families served by the CEC as well as volunteers who have contributed 100 hours or more of volunteer time. These "Starflingers"  receive a thank you gift for their dedication to the CEC's mission.
